
Greek language lessons in Greece (Mainland Greece)
Universal Education S.A. with a leading position in the field of education and lifelong training has undertaken the project of "Providing Greek language lessons in Greece (mainland Greece)" in cooperation with the International Organization for Migration (IOM).
The project is addressed to beneficiaries of international protection, like refugees and beneficiaries of subsidiary protection, who reside either in facilities belonging to the Ministry of Migration and Asylum or in urban areas in general, as well as beneficiaries of temporary protection, legal migrants and asylum seekers in the regions of: Attica, Central Greece, Central Macedonia, Eastern Macedonia and Thrace, Epirus and Thessaly
The educational program is about:
- Learning Greek language skills

Attaining cultural skills with special emphasis given to the Greek and European culture as well as their values
- Learning the essential terminology in regards to jobs in demand in the Greek labor market, as well as emphasizing and promoting the employment of women

Learning about the worker rights in the labor market.
The program, with a total duration of 80 hours (9 hours per week) can take place either via remote learning or via physical presence in class, while the teaching of the material is being undertaken by professors with many years of experience of teaching Greek.
Those who successfully finish the program are eligible to participate in a paid internship by the IOM, for their smooth integration in the labor market
